Getting Started

• from FASO control panel
• click on Prints icon (upper row)
• click on Request Access to Pictorem Integration button

Doing the above creates a support ticket which alerts our team to enable the POD service on your account. Once it has been enabled you will receive a reply to that support ticket that includes more info on how to proceed.

If you don't have a Pictorem account, here's how to sign up:

• From FASO Control Panel
• Click Prints in the top menu
• Click Sign Up Here link

Once the account is set up on Pictorem, you will need to find your Pictorem User ID.

• Log in to Pictorem (click here)
• Click My Account in the pink menu bar at the top
• Click Account Info 
• Copy User ID 

then back to your FASO Control Panel:

• Click Prints in the top menu
• Enter the Pictorem User ID in the space provided
• Click the button to Enable Pictorem Integration
• Click Save

This automatically connects each of your artworks to the print integration.  
To exclude any artworks from the print integration, follow these steps:

Exclude Artworks from POD

If you want to exclude any artworks from the print integration, follow these steps:

• From FASO Control Panel
• Click Artwork icon (upper row)
• Click on an artwork to select
• Select Print on Demand

• Click Print on Demand Options for this Artwork
• For Enable printing, toggle button Off

• Save

Upload a High Resolution Image

• From Control Panel
• Click Artwork
• Click Edit for an artwork
• Click Print on Demand
• At the bottom where it says - For better quality or larger prints, please upload a high resolution image, click upload a high resolution image.
• Upload the image
• Click Save

Add Prices, Printing Mediums and Size Ranges

IMPORTANT: The prices, printing mediums and size ranges need to be selected in your Pictorem account. 

You do not need to upload your art to Pictorem (unless you wish to Order your own Prints at cost - ***see below).

TO SELECT MEDIUMS & PRINT SIZES:

• Log in to Pictorem
• Click My Account
• Click Print Settings (left column)
• Select Printing Mediums
• Click Save Preference
• Select Min & Max Print Size
• Click Save & Apply to All

TO SELECT PRICING:

• 
  

  Artwork Pricing Settings (4 choices):
  • Flat price
  • Price per square foot
  • Price per width (inches)
  • Profit based on printing cost (percentage)
• Save & Apply to All Artworks

SALES & EARNINGS

• Click Sales & Earnings (left column)
• Payout Settings
• Select USD or CAD
• Payment Method - choose Paypal or Stripe (Stripe is a direct bank transfer)
• Paypal Email - add email address for Paypal account (if choosing the Paypal payment method)
• Click Save

Payments are issued 30 days after shipping.

*** How to Order your own Prints at Cost

If you want to order your own prints while logged in to Pictorem, you can order then at cost plus a 15% discount.

You will need to upload the artwork to Pictorem and then make the purchase. You are not allowed to share that link with anyone else.

To purchase prints at cost plus 15% discount:

• Log in to Pictorem
• Click on My Gallery (top row)
• Upload a new artwork or scroll down and click one that is already uploaded
• Click Order this artwork at print cost (in the black section at the top)
• Select a printing material
• Scroll down to place an order at cost plus 15% discount

You can order from the FASO website, but you will only get the 15% discount. You will not get the wholesale price of the print but you would still get it back in your commission.

NOTE: Artists do not need to upload art to Pictorem unless they want to place orders for their own prints and get the artist discount and wholesale price or if they just want an additional sales channel.

There is also an option to offer Limited Edition prints for works that are uploaded to Pictorem.

Orders are printed in Montreal, Canada with 2 shipping locations.

• Montreal, Canada - for customers in Canada
• Champlain, NY - for US customers

They pack in shipping tubes which are shipped worldwide. 

For framed prints, they only ship to Canada and the USA.

Continental USA or Canada - Shipping is Free

Pictorem Tips about Image Sizes

• Accepted Format: JPG
• Suggestion: Higher quality compression level
• Max file size: 200MB per file. 
• Don't enlarge your file, don't upscale your image from a smaller resolution. The website will display the maximum print size based on your file resolution.
• If you take a picture of your original artwork, please make sure the image you upload is correctly cropped and you have the same lighting exposure through the entire image.
