Sell POD Prints from your Contest Entry

You can choose to sell POD prints of your contest entry directly from the contest site.

This can be done when submitting your entry or when editing the entry after it has been submitted.

See FAQs:

You will find the toggle switch in the individual Contest Entry screen that allows you to select the Sell Prints option.

This text is included in the screen that shows above:

Do you want us to offer this artwork for sale as an on demand print?

By turning this on, you will allow us to sell prints of your artwork through our FASO Pictorem Gallery. A "View Prints Available" button will be displayed next to your contest entry on the BoldBrush Contest website.

Pricing will vary by size, format, and framing options. By default, Pictorem sets pricing at 100% of the printing cost. After subtracting the printing costs and transaction fees, we will split our revenue with the artists as follows:
60% to artist, 40% to FASO.

By turning this on below you grant FASO permission to offer this artwork for sale as a print-on-demand.

Once you enable the setting you will see this additional content:

The contest entry form will automatically populate your PayPal address from your ecommerce settings. If the PayPal email field isn't populated, you will need to include it.

All commissions paid to you will be paid to your PayPal account.
Commissions are paid 30 days from the time your collector receives the print.

The 60% - 40% payout agreement is based on a standard Artist - Gallery payout agreement.

Example: If a visitor orders a print and the production cost is $100. This would make the total retail price $200. ($100 production cost and $100 profit). The artist would receive 60% of the profit which is $60 and FASO keeps 40% which is $40.

You also have the option to upload a higher resolution image if your original doesn't have sufficient resolution. Any high resolution image you upload only serves the print order and is not used or publicly accessible from the contest site.

Once the changes are saved, your contest entry will automatically include the View Prints Available button.

NOTES:

You do not need to offer POD on your website to take advantage of this feature. FASO will be acting as the “gallery” selling your work and then paying you the 60% commision.

Participation is totally optional and has no influence or impact on the outcome of the contest itself. It is simply another channel for FASO to help promote your artwork.

If you wish to sell prints from a previous contest entry you will need to re-submit the piece into the current contest.
