Page Views are the number of times a specific page has been viewed on your site. If one person looks at a page 100 times that would be 100 page views.

Unique visitors in your Analytics indicate different people.

If the same person visits your site each day in April
that is 1 Unique Visitor.

If a different person visits your site each day of May
that would be 31 Unique Visitors.

In other words, if you have 1 visitor per day in your stats, Unique Visitors gives you an idea if it is the same collector visiting your site repeatedly or if your traffic is from different sources.

NOTE: When you login to your analytics database, your own visits to your site will automatically be excluded. Visiting the analytics details adds a cookie to your browser session that excludes your visits.
