To create a direct shortcut to a website on your iPhone home screen, use the Safari app:

• Open Safari 
• Navigate to the website you want to save
• Tap the Share icon (a square with an upward-pointing arrow), bottom of screen
  NOTE: if you do not see the Share icon, tap 3 bar menu icon
• Scroll down, tap Add to Home Screen
• Customize the name for the icon
• Tap Add (top-right corner)

The website icon will now appear on your home screen and function exactly like a regular app.

If you want to move the icon to a specific page or folder, simply tap and hold it until it jiggles, drag it to your desired location, tap Done.
