Add a Link to Text, to an Image, plus how to make it a Link Button

First, obtain the URL/web address that you want to link to, starting with the https://
The best way to grab the link is to open the site (or page) you want to link to. Copy the address (url) that appears in the address bar of your browser. 


As of February 2026, for Home Page, About Page, Links page:

  • from FASO control panel
  • access the editing screen for the page you want to add the link to
  • click Edit button

  • add your text or image
  • highlight the text or image

  • click the Insert/edit link icon (looks like a chain link)
  • add the full url to the url field
  • Save or Save and exit



For all other pages:

  • from FASO Control Panel
  • click on the category or page where you want to add the link
  • click Full Screen Mode button (bottom left) or full screen composer icon (upper right)
  • Add text or image
  • Select/highlight the text or image
  • Add the full url to the url field
    • OPTIONAL: add the link as a button:
      • click down arrow for Class option
      • select Button
      • click OK
  • Save or Save and exit



Optional: for external sites, you can set Target to Open in new window
